Tip of the week: the 90-second desk reset
By Shirly Rosenfeld · May 30, 2026
Set a timer for every 90 minutes. When it goes off:
- 10 sit-to-stands from your chair (no hands if you can)
- 5 standing back extensions — hands on hips, gently arch back
- 30 seconds of marching in place
That's it. Ninety seconds. It resets your hips, wakes your spine, and gets blood moving. Stack it onto a habit you already have — every coffee, every meeting end — and it becomes automatic.
